Kotagiri ~ the offbeat hill station in Tamil Nadu

Nestled in the Nilgiri Hills of Tamil Nadu and surrounded by lush tea gardens; is just a perfect weekend getaway for me.

This lovely town is indeed engulfed by the colonial period. Although all hill stations compete to provide something special to visitors, Kotagiri does not have a competitive advantage over other hill stations.

The tropical flora and fauna that can be found here add to the allure of your holiday.

The only way to enjoy here is to get lazy! Many resorts and hotels have in-house kitchens where you can sample local cuisines.
